Education Bryan
County schools are ranked in the top ten school systems statewide.
Students have consistently produced test scores higher than the state

Although
Bryan County residents live only a short drive from three
state-of-the-art Savannah hospitals, in an emergency it is still a
drive. Therefore, Candler, Memorial and St. Joseph's have each
established a medial center that acts as an extension of the hospital's
professional care to the residents of Bryan County.

Medical Center is a 530-bed medical center that offers a wide range of
health services. Memorial Hospital is a regional referral center for
cancer care, trauma, rehabilitation, high-risk obstetrics, and cardiac
care. Memorial Children's Hospital has the only pediatric intensive
care unit in the area, and the hospital offers extensive neo-natal care
for both mothers and infants.

County. The wide range of religious sanctuaries cover almost every
religion and denomination. Religious freedom was important to the
