Education
Bryan County schools are ranked in the top ten school systems statewide. Students have consistently produced test scores higher than the state averages. Children are provided a quality classroom experience with 50% of the faculty holding Master's, Specialists or Doctorate degrees.

Bryan County school system is one of only 50 systems statewide to provide Community Education Programs for local residents. These programs offer a variety of academic and enrichment courses for children and adults.

Medical
Although Bryan County residents live only a short drive from three state-of-the-art Savannah hospitals, in an emergency it is still a drive. Therefore, Candler, Memorial and St. Joseph's have each established a medial center that acts as an extension of the hospital's professional care to the residents of Bryan County.

Memorial Medical Center is a 530-bed medical center that offers a wide range of health services. Memorial Hospital is a regional referral center for cancer care, trauma, rehabilitation, high-risk obstetrics, and cardiac care. Memorial Children's Hospital has the only pediatric intensive care unit in the area, and the hospital offers extensive neo-natal care for both mothers and infants.

There is an abundance of chuches and relgious organizations in Bryan County. The wide range of religious sanctuaries cover almost every religion and denomination. Religious freedom was important to the founders of Georgia and continues to this day.
